Dual Enrollment Opportunities

Seniors and second-semester juniors currently enrolled at Mohawk Trail (and who meet other eligibility requirements) may be considered for early entrance into our local community college, Greenfield Community College. Students participating in dual enrollment opportunities earn both high school and college credit simultaneously.

In addition to taking dual enrollment classes physically located at GCC, Mohawk Trail Regional also offers students the opportunity to earn college credit within its walls. During the 2017-18 academic year, we began offering Introduction to Robotics and Electronics, a course taught by Mohawk Trail faculty and held at Mohawk Trail Regional, but allows students to earn college credit. Stay tuned as we continue to expand these dual enrollment course offerings.

Eligibility

Dual-enrollment students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and receive a recommendation from their principal, guidance counselor, and/or teacher. They must also meet pertinent Greenfield Community College admission and course requirements.
